The large male wasn't satisfied seeing the rover flee. So Rome chases after Thesus. Making well sure the rogue wouldn't come back. He barked aggressively after the fleeing male and ran until he was far from his sight.
Rome still wasn't satisfied but it would have to do. Leaving his small mob vulernable would of been irresponsible of him.
Puffed up with pride and with a few bite wounds on his neck, the large male returns to the home burrow. Despite the blood on his neck his injuries were minor and he was quite happy to receive them. They were his first battle scars as a dominant male, that proved he was worthy of such a title.

Diego nodded his head, he knew how he felt, sort of but he hadn’t lost a mate. “Ah, trying to take over a gang, eh?” he padded closer and settled down close to the entrance. “It isn’t as easy as it sounds,” he chuckled a bit trying to lighten the mood but doubted it would work. “So what’s your name old timer?” asked the rover.

Theseus looked up to see another large male who was obviously a rouge too. My mate just died because we tried to become a dominant pair and i fled.. He looked to the male they could make a good team.A roving team.He said nothing but waited to see if this new male would suggest they go roving together.

Diego’s strong frame soon appeared over the horizon. He shoved through the long stems of grass with his broad shoulders and his smoky grey face was lifted to the air keeping watch for predators and a place to stay for the night. Finally he shoved through the last of the desert grass forest and was met with a promising sight, a burrow. By the looks of it he knew it wasn’t a den made by meerkat paws but it had been abandoned by whatever made it a long time ago. But a fresh scent drifted towards his nose and he perked up and padded over to investigate. His green gaze rested on a depressed meerkat who lay in deep thought at the entrance to the den. A smirk came across his face but it quickly vanished as he saw the pain in his eyes. “Why so glum old fella?” he asked in his deep voice.

Theseus slowly padded in his head down low and kept sighing to himself.He had watched Cabela die and did nothing.He wanted to die but he had smelt a pup nearby and thought that it might be once of his from back when he was a rover.That had made him rethink dieing but now he wasn't so sure.He had loved Cabela and missed her more than ever now.The scratches on his stomach were deep but he didn't bother to clean them they would heal eventually. He looked around and when he saw no pup in sight he just lay down and let his thoughts drift back to Cabela.She was so young and if he hadn't said that they could take over the Camazi territory then they could still be together. He was a rover once more and was a littel happy at that fact.

Theseus quickly moved his face out of the way and when the big male went for his underbelly , he pulled away quikly and ran back towards the Abandoned Den but before that he ran next to Cabela and gave her once last lick before he left.

The large male shrieked as he felt the teeth of his rival reach his neck. In a quick burst of energy Rome pull's out from Thesus and made a reach for the other rival's underbelly,limbs and face. He snarled as he furiously bites and scratches at the attacker's weak spots. Rome's energy pumped into him as continues his furious rampage on the rover.

Morgandy turned around and her face immediately became soft again when she saw Rome, However, she turned back and her eyes became flaming. She sneered at the male and said Bring it on. Wanting to fight him herself.
